Bow-style spear sling
Lankas brings the oldest way to hunt underwater. No trigger, no barrel. You draw to the chin like an archer and let go.
lankas · [ˈlaːŋkɐs] · Lithuanian, noun: bow
The bow is humanity's oldest precision tool. Lankas takes it underwater and keeps it simple: a grip, two tubes, a band and your own strength.
Drawn to the chin like an archer. Your eye, your arm, your release.
Few parts and no trigger mechanism. Every part can be seen, replaced or repaired.
Brushed aluminium, an etched logo and a grip refined by hand. Made in small batches.
Selective, close-range, one-breath hunting. Take only what you need.
How it works
Slide the shaft through the guide and set its tail in the cup at the centre of the band.
Push the grip forward and pull the cup back to your chin, like a bow. Left or right hand.
Look down the shaft, open your fingers and let the band do the work.
The kit
Lankas ships as a kit you assemble with one hex key. Knowing every part is how you keep it working for years.
For divers who already have their own shaft.
Everything in one box. A good gift.
